End User License Agreement
Please read this agreement carefully before purchasing or using Samtal. By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.
1. The Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you ("User") and Antfarm Studios, operated by Ludwig Madsen Barbagallo ("Developer"). This Agreement is not with Apple Inc. or any other platform distributor. Apple has no warranty or support obligations under this Agreement whatsoever.
2. License
The Developer grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use Samtal on devices you own. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute the application.
3. No Warranty
Samtal is provided strictly "as is" and "as available." The Developer makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. You use this software entirely at your own risk.
4. How This App Was Built — AI-Assisted Development
You acknowledge and understand that Samtal was developed with significant assistance from AI coding tools, specifically Anthropic's Claude Code. By purchasing, you accept that:
- AI-generated code may contain bugs, unexpected behavior, or security vulnerabilities that the Developer may not be aware of
- There is a possibility, however unlikely, that AI-generated code could behave in unintended ways, including but not limited to unexpected data access or other anomalous behavior
- The Developer has made reasonable efforts to review the code but cannot guarantee its completeness or safety
- You are purchasing with full knowledge of this development methodology and accept the associated risks
5. Third-Party Platforms
Samtal integrates with third-party platforms including WhatsApp, Messenger, WeChat, iMessage, and Apple Mail. The Developer has no affiliation with any of these services. Their availability, functionality, and terms of service are entirely outside the Developer's control. If any of these platforms change their interface, restrict access, or become unavailable, Samtal may stop working partially or entirely. The Developer has no obligation to fix or update the application in response to such changes.
6. No Guarantee of Support or Continued Development
The Developer will make reasonable efforts to maintain and improve Samtal but makes absolutely no promise or commitment to:
- Provide updates, bug fixes, or new features
- Respond to support requests, feedback, or bug reports within any particular timeframe or at all
- Continue developing or maintaining the application beyond the date of your purchase
The Developer reserves the right to discontinue Samtal at any time without notice. The application may become outdated, incompatible with future operating systems, or simply stop being maintained. You are purchasing the application as it exists at the time of purchase. Feedback and critique are genuinely welcomed and appreciated, but cannot be guaranteed a response.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of Samtal, including but not limited to:
- Data loss or corruption
- Damage to your device or system
- Loss of business, revenue, or profits
- Security incidents or unauthorized data access
- Any consequences of the application becoming unavailable or non-functional
In no event shall the Developer's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the application.
8. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. You are responsible for ensuring the application is appropriate for your use case before purchasing. You are responsible for compliance with the terms of service of any third-party platforms you access through Samtal.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved in Danish courts.
10. Acceptance
By purchasing Samtal you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have read and understood this Agreement, and that you accept its terms knowingly and voluntarily.
